It drains the fats and oils while preserving the natural juices. All the parts are here including: adjustable basket with removable cover to cook all your veggies, set of 6 skewers, roasting spit, heat reflector, non-stick drip tray, remover handle, and the holder for the roasting spit. Also included is the booklet with hints and tips, cooking guides and temperatures, and recipes. We have the original box the rotisserie came in. It's easy to clean - the parts can be put in the dishwasher. Everything is clean, in working order and ready to use! We loved the rotisserie, but we received a BBQ with a built-in rotisserie and we don't need two. You won't have to buy deli rotisserie chicken again.
