Text: I'm selling a red Miyata bicycle. It's probably a good fit for people from 5'6" to 5'9". It shifts and brakes beautifully and gives you a smooth, controllable ride. The frame is lugged double-butted Cr-Mo steel and made in Japan. There are scratches and nicks on the frame, but no dents.

The Miyata would make an excellent touring or commuter bike since it has eyelets, which can be used to mount fenders (aka mudguards) and/or racks, and clearance for wider tires and fenders. The bike currently has 700c x 28 tires and black Planet Bike fenders.

Measurements:

Top tube (center to center): 53cm (maybe 54cm)

Seat tube (center to center): 53cm

Standover height: 31.25 inches

Sakae Randonneur handlebar

Matrix rims

SR 165mm cranks

Upgraded (non-original) rear cassette (so the bike now has 12 speeds)

If you would like to buy the bike outfitted with the Nitto Technomic stem (as pictured in the second photo), add $20 to the price (for a total of $140). Otherwise, you'll get the bike outfitted with the shorter quill stem, as pictured in the first photo.

I'll throw in a Blackburn alloy waterbottle cage. Also, you get your choice of pedals: (1) the Shimano PD-1056 pedals in the photos or (2) a pair of Look pedals.
