Text: This is a beautifully refurbished classic 1977 Miley 2 Horse Trailer – straight load, tall, step up.

Refurbished by Woodside High School Automotive Club

The proceeds from the sale of this trailer will be used to buy a car as our next project.

Over the last summer our team spent countless hours refurbishing this trailer to the like-new condition that it is in now.

Most of the trailer was painted with Rust-Oleum hammered paint, giving this classic trailer a unique and durable finish.

Particulars:

- Exposed rust removed and treated;

- Entire trailer, inside and out, primed and painted with durable Rust-Oleum brand “stops rust” primer and paint;

- Ceiling coated with automotive undercoating for noise and vibration dampening;

- Wheel wells and underside of tongue coated with automotive undercoating to resist rust and dampen noise;

- New front tinted Lexan windows;

- Adjustable vent in roof helps keep the interior cool;

- New clearance lights and reflectors;

- Aftermarket spare tire (tire is virtually new, has never been used on the road);

- Aftermarket conveyor belt anchored to lower sides of interior walls, center divider and back doors to resist hoof damage;

- Brand-new automotive/marine weather stripping on all the front doors and escape door;

- Upper part of trailer has vinyl pads to help prevent injuries to the horses;

- Two-piece center divide with vinyl pads and butt-chains; and after market adapters to widen the rear of one side that makes towing only one horse easier and more comfortable;

- Floor boards are covered by heavy duty, ribbed and textured black floor mats;

- Almost $1000 spent on materials and supplies used to refurbish trailer along with countless hours of labor;
