The overall external condition is between poor and fair with scuffing and a bit of spot rust, the lock has no keys and has been pried off, the leather handle on top is in poor condition and damaged but still used for lifting the empty trunk. The interior is in poor to fair condition, mostly complete, dirty, a bit musty with the smell of mildew. From what is known this style of trunk is early 1900's vintage and known as wardrobe trunks or traveling wardrobes. Designed to stand on end for packing or open use. One half of the trunk is filled with drawers and the other half has clothes hanger.
