Comes from a smoke free, extremely clean freak home. We went out and bought this from babiesrus. It was “the” best one they had, and most expensive. We paid $69.99 + tax. Yours for a bargain. BARELY used more than 2 or 3 times. Unfortunately, my baby boy did not like this gym. He preferred being in open space. Other babies that I know grow up with these in their first year, and love interacting with these gym mats.

Gross Motor Development

When in the prone position, the Gymini® TOTAL PLAYGROUND™ activity gym encourages baby to lift her neck and shoulders while gazing at her reflection in the extra-large mirror or the illustrations on the border, strengthening her neck and shoulder girdle. When baby extends her hand and strikes the toys, or her feet to kick the response pad, she strengthens her arm and leg muscles. From the sixth month, baby is drawn to the Kick & Play™ response pad which she strikes to elicit flashing lights or music. This helps baby's ability to support her weight with one hand.

Fine Motor Development

The hanging toys invite baby to reach out and strike or grasp, first by chance and later quite intentionally as control over her arm and hand improves. This helps develop hand-eye coordination.
