This was her original post: These custom designed craftsman style window seats were made of cherry in the early '90's. We made modifications to them and replaced the seat and back cushions in 2001 with beautiful upholstery fabric covering extremely comfortable, high end foam cushions. The three multi-colored toss pillows are custom made from Balinese fabric. On the right side is a small book shelf that can be used for knick-knacks or whatever in addition to books. Not pictured here is the far left side, which includes a top shelf/surface like the two shown, and two book/storage shelves on the outer edge (since it is not against a wall on the left). Additionally, on the bottom of the seat to the left are two fully functioning storage drawers. Although there are no drawers on the right bench, the detail matches the drawer handles for a uniform look. These seats are suitable for socializing, reading, or even accommodating an overnight guest or two. We'd like to get $2800, or best offer (we spent $2500 on the cherry wood modifications and another $1800 for the cushions and toss pillows).
