Text: Want a streetbike? I am looking for a possible trade for my 87 CBR600F. I feel it would be a straight-up trade value... I am willing to sell or trade =) I have seen people selling J/R Kits; sometimes with intercoolers on sites for around $1,000 used.

I would consider an SOHC Supercharger setup, Turbo[minimal shaftplay if at all]+Mani+DP+Injectors+piping etc : of course you would have to guarentee everything is in good condition; just as I would and do.

I know people got these setups lying around... hit me up!!! I got a D15B waiting for boost!

Here's the info on the bike:

Up for sale is my 87 CBR600F Hurricane. Asking price is $1,000 I recently drove a 94 F2.... This hurricane is WAAAAAY Faster.... I can't believe the difference. When the hurricane model of the 600 first came out it was spanking 750's for many years... and it easily took my friends XJ1100; that's even with a -1 tooth rear sprocket [-1 from stock].

The bike has had it's fair share of use, and I believe it has ~28,000 miles [Bike isn't stored at my house, I keep it at my friends' house where I have a garage to keep it.

The motor runs **strong** and good. All service (since I have owned it) has been up to date. Prior to my owning the bike, it sat in a barn for 7 years because the owner couldn't get it to run.... I had to replace ALL of the electrical system... the voltage regulator fried everything but the instrument cluster. The main frame is unbent, the only part of frame damage is the tail secion where the seat is mounted, but it has been straightened (not perfect). It is very ridable, and it does not affect ridability whatsoever.... it's asthetic.

The motor runs clean, strong, and has no issues with it. a list of items I hav e replaced recently on the bike: Wiring harness (used one from an 89) CDI (from the same bike as the harness '89) non-california model Ignition pickups Clutch Cable (new) Blinker box Battery Front forks (they could use a fluid change, and I recently let the air out, so they need a 7psi pump-up) Rear rimFront rim Ignition switch Fuel filter California emissions equipment removed/bypassed Rear blinkers Tires Remote start pager alarm (currently removed from bike, but can be re-installed) Yoshimura Pipe Front brake lever (friend lost balance while I was teaching him, and he set the bike down on the right, snapping the lever.... I just need to take him to the moto shop and he'll buy a new one)

Ok, the rear rim is a 1-off custom peice. It is made from 2 stock rims to accomodate the larger tire size. The only downside[what people say anyways, not a downside to me at all] to the new rim is chain rub on the tire. With a 520 chain conversion the rub will be minimal to none. I still have the origional rear rim if you would like it. The rub is normal for this custom rim, and it doesn't make the tire unsafe; I ride it often.
Old Tire Size: Front[110/80ZR16] Rear[130/80ZR16] New Tire Size: Front[120/60ZR16] Rear[160/60ZR16] The tires are Pilots.

Last registered in 98, I have all paperwork on the motorcycle, and it is in my name. It's my sunday driver... I havent gone to register it yet. I have only run 91+octane in the bike. Currently it's sitting with 1/2tank of 110octane; and does it ever make a difference.

The chain on it is worn and old, been on it for 7+years... what do you expect. The rear sprocket is -1 tooth. This is because it's the only sprocket I could get to fit it... and it was free. I am/was still planning to get a 520 conversion kit so I didn't upgrade the chain/sprockets yet. I ride it on the current chain... it just clicks loud if you get on it if it gets out of adjustment. It has been stretching less and less... so it isn't bad right now. I would suggest a new chain, but get the 520 kit instead... you wont regret it.

This would make an awesome starter/stunter bike for someone... and it should run for many days to come.... with regular oil changes/maintainance, you can easily get these things to go hundreds of thousands of miles without any major work needed. The reason for selling my bike is because I need to move away and I won't have a place to keep it at the apartment complex. My loss your gain! The pictures of the bike are not recent.... they are from when I first got it running. Things that are different from the pic: the front fairing/windshield is currently on the bike, the rest is commando (I have 1/2 the side fairings, and the front wheel fairing on a shelf), the rear rim and front rim are black, and the rear rim is different (wider, but is the stock design), and the turnsignals aren't on there[in the pic]. It's a streetfighter.. I have some plastics for it.... 1/2 of the bike, and the front wheel fender.... The seat has been duct-taped a few times, and I can re-upholster/foam it if requested; for a nominal fee... I have been too busy to upholster it or it would be a like new seat already. If you would like to hear it running, and see it moving, I have a video uploaded you can view here: http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoID=1051735175 Wheelies

you see it in the beginning, and you can see it ride at the end. In the video: the yoshi pipe is not on it; and the old rims are on it.... maybe ill make a new recent video of it running/riding soon. The yoshi sounds clean =)

Delivery available within ~60 miles. NO OUT OF STATE BUYERS UNLESS YOU ARE COMING TO CALI (HERE) to PICK IT UP YOURSELF with CASH IN HAND. NO SCAMMER EMAILS PLEASE!

Willing to consider trades... maybe a Turbo/Manifold/piping/injectors for a SOHC Civic(92-00)?
